A720 is an excellent camera. I would SLR camera for better image quality than the picture and I want a wide screen HD video. After reading lots of reviews and e-mail communication with support for Canon, Rebel T2i seem to answer. In some ways it is. Image quality for stills is an upgrade, especially in low light situations. The video quality is not so good. This is mainly due to the optical viewfinder does not work for video rebel T2i, only for stills! I have not seen it mentioned anywhere - not on this site, not on the support of Canon, not a &quot;bias evaluation online&quot; ... I do not understand how people really use this camera can not find the optical viewfinder is essential. And stabilization - it's easy to hold the camera steady with an optical viewfinder. I have to buy an expensive telephoto lens for my A720 increased beyond stable, and the battery grip to record non-stop live show in HD video. For me, the rebel T2i is not a way to have both SLR cameras and HD video camera - is not like I want too. That said, this is a good camera and more I learn about the features of the more creative I enjoy using the Canon EOS T2i.</div>
