Medical Insurance Coverage<br />

By far the most reasonably priced medical insurance for those eligible. Individual health insurance costs the employee between 5.00 and 8.00 monthly. Not only is that well below the national average, children of the employees become eligible when the associate becomes eligible. With over 50 different options available for their employees, a medical plan can be tailored to perfection for almost anyone which explains why 92% of Walmart employees have health insurance.<br />

Walmart has set up a benefit package that has relationships with many outside companies and has an associate only website set up just for that purpose. In addition to the outside entities, Walmart also offers 10% off merchandise, fruits and vegetables as well as eyewear their vision centers. <br />
Retirement Plans<br />

A profit sharing plan and 401(k) plans are a nice feature for the associates of Walmart and make contributions to those plans even if an employee chooses not to contribute. Associates can also purchase stock in the company without paying brokerage fees and a portion of their purchases are matched for those that have jobs at Walmart.<br />
