Windows has introduced windows 7 platform to tackle competition like android, iOS, RIM and Symbian. These Operating Systems differ from each other in the way they perform tasks. For example, Blackberry OS is more business focused while iOS is more popular with gamers. Standby time refers to the amount of time the battery will stay on when the phone is not in use. Usually, the standby time of the smartphones can be around 400 hours. Talk time is the more important battery life aspect when compared to a phone's standby time. You can expect a talk time of around thirteen hours in some of the best selling smartphones in the market. You can get a memory card to be inserted into the phone, if your smartphone does not have sufficient memory of its own.

4) Phone Appearance

Check for the many designs of smartphones that are available today. The design components that add a touch of exclusiveness to a phone are its screen, its size and its keyboard. Touchscreen keyboards are more technology enabled keyboards as they do not involve any buttons. The screen size of your phone relies on the kind of the keyboard it has. If it is a touchscreen keyboard, you can see that the size of the screen is much larger to incorporate it. If you use the phone only to call and send messages, a small screen phone is just right for you.

There are more aspects of a phone that you can evaluate to make the best purchase.
