If you're a DIY (try it for yourself) type of musician like me it might take a while to knowledge this concept. When you hear a song about the radio, on TV, in Film, on the elevator, in the local caf, at the club or within a major concert hall make no mistake about it there was a network of folks that collaborated to ensure it is happen.
Connecting and Collaborating with others are the 2 secrets used by simply pop starts, songwriters and music producers to produce hit music.

Connect

Connecting with others inside the music industry is absolutely essential for finding success and in the end making a hit song. We all know of talented people that for example can sing such as a diva or play beginners guitar like Hendrix but who never seem to access the next level. Why? Because they are soloists. Think of a soloist in a choir. Without the choir backing her the chance of the song being a success greatly diminishes. Don't be a soloist in relation to your music career or you can end up singing inside the shower for life.

Collaborate.

Instead, develop a networking attitude and collaborate with other musicians and industry experts. If your music is actually good people will identify it and naturally be drawn towards helping you reach your goal because after you succeed they will succeed. On the other hand if the music needs work, collaborate with people who can help you take it to the subsequent level.
